The admission alone matters. Grand Canyon West sells its own All-Access Pass at $99 per person, which includes the Skywalk, the zipline and the shuttle between viewpoints. At the sticker price this tour matches that pass while adding the coach and hotel pickup, though without the zipline, cultural performances or Skywalk unless you pay for those options.

What Is Not, and What You May Pay on the Day

Lunch is not in the base price, only a dining voucher if you chose that option. The Skywalk is a paid option on this tour, not standard. The helicopter-and-boat ride is an upgrade. Gratuities are optional and not included. There is no national park fee here at all: Grand Canyon West sits on Hualapai tribal land, so the $100 fee that non-US residents pay at the South Rim from 2026 never applies on this route.

For comparison, Grand Canyon West's own $99 All-Access Pass includes the Skywalk, the zipline, Hualapai guided tours, performances and the viewpoint shuttle. So this tour's base ticket buys less at the rim than the pass, but it adds the round-trip coach from Las Vegas. Decide at booking if you want the Skywalk option, because adding it later on site costs the full pass price.

About 4 Hours at Grand Canyon West

Admission included, you reach Grand Canyon West for about 4 hours, the longest rim time of any West Rim coach day in this comparison. The time splits between Eagle Point and Guano Point, reached by the free shuttle. Eagle Point holds the Skywalk, the glass walkway 70 feet long and 4,000 feet above the canyon floor, plus the Eagle Rock formation. If you bought the Skywalk option, cameras, bags and purses stay behind in free lockers. Phones are allowed at your own risk.

Guano Point gives open viewpoints and short trails around the old guano-mine tramway. Your included granola bar and one bottle of water cover the snack. If you selected the lunch option, your dining voucher buys food at the rim restaurants. This is also where the helicopter-and-boat upgrade happens for anyone who booked it: a flight 3,500 feet down to the canyon floor and a pontoon ride on the Colorado River, about 45 minutes total.

Boulder City and the Ride Home

On the way back the coach runs about 105 minutes, then 15 more minutes to Hemenway Park in Boulder City for a 15-minute photo stop. The park is known for the bighorn sheep that graze on its lawn above Lake Mead. After that the coach drives about 45 minutes to a final 15-minute photo stop viewing Hoover Dam from the road and the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, before the drop-off at any of the 19 pickup hotels.

One caveat for anyone travelling during the Formula 1 Las Vegas weekend of November 18 to 22: pickup and drop-off are limited to Excalibur, Park MGM or Treasure Island on those dates.

Wheelchair Users and Anyone Needing a Small Group

The listing states the tour is not suitable for wheelchair users. That rules it out outright for some travellers, with no workaround offered. It also runs as a large group on a motor coach, so there is no personal guiding at the rim and no van-scale flexibility.

Anyone Who Wants the Dam as More Than a Photo

The name says Hoover Dam, and the reality is a view from the road and the bridge. If you want to walk the dam, take the visitor center or ride down into the power plant, look at the Hoover Dam stop tour options, or the Bureau of Reclamation sells its own Visitor Center ticket at $15 and a Power Plant Tour at $25 for adults if you drive there yourself. Heat-sensitive Travellers in Summer and Light Eaters

Grand Canyon West sits much lower than the South Rim and is hot in summer with little shade. You get one bottle of water and a granola bar as standard, so bring extra water and sun protection. If a cooked breakfast and a sit-down lunch matter, the West Rim tour with two meals includes both for the same $99 base price over 10 hours.

And if 10.5 hours on a bus sounds too long for 4 hours at the rim, a helicopter landing tour takes 2.5 to 4.5 hours door to door, at several times the price.

Cancellation and Payment

Free cancellation applies up to 24 hours before departure for a full refund, and reserve now and pay later is offered. That gives you a day's grace to change your mind. Inside 24 hours, expect no refund, so do not book the day before you are sure.

Confirm the Options and the Pickup

Ask the seller or check the option at booking for three things. First, your pickup hotel and exact time, since departure is a morning window confirmed only after booking and the default is Treasure Island among 19 hotels. Second, whether your chosen option includes the Skywalk or the dining voucher, because the base $99 includes neither lunch nor Skywalk.

What to Bring and What to Leave

Bring extra water beyond the single bottle provided, sun protection and comfortable shoes for Guano Point's short trails. Luggage and large bags are not allowed on the coach. If you take the Skywalk option, cameras, bags and purses are not allowed on the glass and go in free lockers at the entrance, phones at your own risk.

Non-US residents travelling on a South Rim day elsewhere need passport details for the $100 park fee, but that fee does not apply here, so no documents beyond normal identification are needed.

What Can Change on the Day

Itineraries are subject to change, the listing says so itself. Grand Canyon West is open every day of the year, so the rim does not close. Summer thunderstorms are a South Rim phenomenon from July through September and less of a factor here, but West Rim heat in summer is real with little shade.
